Step 2 - Form an EOC Team

Forming an EOC Team to lead the efforts to become an Employer of Choice is an important step in the process. Engage people to get them excited and enthusiastic and be sure to assign different parts of the process to people you know will follow it through.
The most important task is to ensure that the EOC Assessment Questionnaires have been completed (Employee’s View and Manager’s View) and the results summarized using the EOC Framework Worksheet and Discussion Guide. Next:
- Use the EOC Assessment questionnaire to identify which of the four human resource Factors is the most urgent and requires the most attention.
- For each of the human resource Factors identified as needing attention, determine how far away the company is from 'Employer of Choice' status.
- Develop a strategy and action plan to close any gaps that exist. Use the Implementation Planning Worksheet to guide this process.
