Graduates are employed locally, across the province, country, and around the world – cruise ships, resorts, tour companies, airlines, travel agencies, and the list goes on. The program is endorsed by the Canadian Institute of Travel Counsellors (CITC) which is the national travel industry trade association that certifies and designates professionals across Canada. This endorsement by the CITC assures you that our program meets or surpasses the standards set by the travel industry.
You’ll learn world geography and all about exciting travel destinations. You’ll also learn about airline flight booking procedures, cruise lines, rail travel, and become proficient in Apollo and Sabre computerized software training. Westervelt’s Tourism and Travel program is a high-quality program taught by an experienced Certified Travel Manager. Our program also prepares students to become certified with the Travel Industry Council of Ontario (TICO).”
