Employment Rights and Responsibilities
Across Canada, the law gives employers and employees specific rights and responsibilities in the workplace. For example, federal and provincial laws protect workers and employers to ensure a fair, safe, and healthy workplace for everyone. These laws and labour standards may differ slightly depending on the province. They may also be stricter than your current workplace, so it is important that you learn about them in order to follow them in your new workplace.
