Emily Butcher: Nola / Raw Almond

A part-time kitchen job is a common path for students to take while pursuing post-secondary studies. For Emily, it was the first step in a lifelong career she loves.

After studying classical piano, she began feeling unfulfilled. Emily knew she had to think critically about what she wanted to do everyday. Though she spent a great deal of time in the kitchen growing up, she never considered it could become a career—but once she began her first restaurant job, she knew she had found her calling.
