Some people head to work in the morning knowing exactly how the day will unfold. For Sheri Moore, that’s not the case—and she loves it.
As owner and operator of a destination management company, Sheri could be operating an event. She could be working in a hotel venue or coordinating the development of an event from the ground-up. Every day provides something new.
Sheri wasn’t expecting to make a career out of operating a DMC. She thought she’d be in Toronto’s marketing and communications market, working in an agency. Because someone saw her talent and encouraged her to start working in events, she started as a coordinator doing just that. Today, she co-owns the company she started working for, and gets to live her dreams as part of Canada’s tourism industry.
